Geography of Rome (2 minutes)
•Location (Where is it? What is around it?)
All: Welcome to the DID YOU KNOW MOMENT!
Fitz: did you know that Julius Ceasar was stabbed 35 times!
Zach: First I’m going to be telling about the Location. A quick way to find Rome is to find Italy or you can find Greece then go west, or you can find china and go west for a long time.
Justin: How long would we have to walk to get from China to Rome.
Zach: Well if you were walking it would take about 2 years.
Justin: WOW I would be walking for about 700 days!
Zach: Seems like a long time doesn’t it.
Justin: YES.
Zach: Well to the Romans it wouldn’t seem that far or that long. Also they were found on hills because it would keep them protected from air attacks, and finally Rome was found near the Tiber River because they needed a constant water supply, and it helped supply them with food.
T.J:Did you know that rome is in Europe? Now you know.
Justin: Let’s pass it off to Romulus.
•Landscape (What was the actual land like? What made it different than Egypt/Mesopotamia/India/China?)
T.J.: sup im interviewing a patrician. So, what is the landscape like in Rome?
Fitz: It was rocky and was next to a river so they could make good farming land. Also the land has some fertile soil, but in some spots it could be hard to farm because of the rocks.
T.J: Ok lets pass it off to the resources.
Justin: Hello I am going to be telling you about the resources in Rome. In Rome they were able to grow corn, grains, and grapes.
Zach: What else could they grow?
Justin: Well they were also able to grow figs, olives, and with the olives they could make olive oil.
Zach: Mmmmm sounds good. =]
Justin: And finally they had the roman baths to keep social and to get clean. If you were a patrician then you could have heated water. If you werent then it would be cold. Also in the roman baths there were librarys were you could get a book to read while taking a bath.

•t.j: well yes its true.
•taylor: so can u tell me the story?
•t.j: well, when i was born my uncle's body gaurd's threw us in the tiber river we were in a basket then a wolf came and found us then she carried us to our din and took care of us for a while then a person found us and took us back to our parents
•Taylor WOW is it true that u killed ur brother.
•t.j well im not totally done with the story
we went to the king and over threw him .
after we built rome but me and my brother didn't agree i want rome and remus my brother wanted to name it rem so we fought to the death, i won
